Police Chase in West Charlotte: Reports
Charlotte police are searching for a suspect who fled by car and train and is now on foot in a West Charlotte neighborhood, reports say.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- A police chase in Charlotte turned multi-modal Wednesday afternoon after a suspect driving a black Honda fled from authorities, jumped out of the car, hopped onto a train and then jumped off into a wooded area of West Charlotte -- all while police helicopters circled overhead, according to reports.
CMPD is on the ground with dogs attempting to track the suspect, who is believed to be on foot near the Westover neighborhood in West Charlotte, according to WSOCTV.
