Police Find 1 Dead, 1 Shot In North Charlotte Home
A shooting around 3 a.m. in a north Charlotte home left one man dead and another injured, according to police.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police have launched a homicide investigation after an early morning shooting in a north Charlotte home left one man dead and another injured.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers responded to the home located in the 9100 block of Feldbank Drive in Charlotte shortly after 3 a.m. Jan. 8, where they found a two men with gunshot wounds.
One of the gunshot victims was pronounced dead on the scene, however his identity has not yet been released by authorities pending notification of next of kin. The second was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

“At this time, the relationship between the two victims is unknown,” CMPD said.
Homicide investigators are searching for additional witnesses for the incident. CMPD said that anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak to a homicide detective, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
