Police Identify Man Slain In Morning Shooting In West Charlotte
Joshua Leland Cox, 41, was shot and killed Wednesday morning in west Charlotte. Here's what police are saying about the case.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police have released the identity of a 41-year-old man who was shot in a west Charlotte neighborhood shortly after day break Wednesday.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Willilyn Lane and Huntwood Drive around 7:30 a.m., where they found a man with an apparent gun shot wound.
The victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene, was later identified as Joshua Leland Cox, 41.
