Police Search For Suspect In North Charlotte Armed Robbery
The Citgo Food Mart on Statesville Road was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning. Police are asking for help locating the suspect.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say is wanted for robbing a north Charlotte convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to the Citgo Food Mart at 4116 Statesville Road around 3 a.m. Sept. 25, where a store employee told them that a man entered the business, pulled a gun and demanded money before fleeing.
The suspect, whose image was captured by a security camera, is described as about 6-foot tall, about 180 pounds with a medium build, short hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, light blue jeans, Nike tennis shoes with a white Nike check and an orange Rockets flat bill ball cap.
