Police Searching For Charlotte Man Missing Since Friday Night
Anthony Benton, 51, has not been seen since he visited with a family friend Friday evening. Here's what police are saying about the case.

CHARLOTTE, NC β Police are asking for the community's help locating a 51-year-old Charlotte man who has not been seen since Friday evening.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Anthony Benton was reported missing Sunday morning by his family, who told police that his last known location was the home of a family friend on Glory Street, who he visted on the evening of March 27.
After he left the friend's home, however, "he has not been seen or heard from since," CMPD said.

Sunday, family members found the black four-door Hyundai Elantra Benton was driving at the time of his disappearance parked a short distance away in the Rosedale Apartments complex on Perennial Terrace Drive.
Benton is described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall and 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, shorts and flip-flops.
