Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Driver Who Hit Pedestrian
A pedestrian was left with serious injuries after a driver hit them while they crossed a south Charlotte street, then sped away.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are searching for a silver Ford sedan with a damaged front-end following a deadly hit-and-run in south Charlotte that left a pedestrian fighting for their life, according to reports.
The crash occurred shortly before midnight July 16 on Woodlawn Road near Nations Crossing, WSOC reported.
According to police, the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time of the incident, the station said.
