Police Searching For Suspect Wanted For Break-in, Vehicle Theft

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are searching for a suspect awaiting trial for felony breaking and entering and larceny of a motor vehicle after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitor Wednesday.

Rodavius Raysean Stewart, 22, was ordered to wear the device as a condition of pretrial release. He was last known to be near 615 Camrose Drive in Charlotte.

Stewart now also faces charges for damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device, police said

He is described as 5-foot, 7-inches tall and 150 pounds.

CMPD said anyone with information on his whereabouts should immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
