Large Police Presence In West Charlotte Neighborhood: Report
A large police presence was seen in a west Charlotte neighborhood Friday just before lunchtime, according to a local report.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A large presence of Charlotte police officers has been spotted in a west Charlotte neighborhood after a suspect jumped from a vehicle and ran, according to local reports.
The event, which began to unfold shortly before noon Aug. 4, occurred near the intersection of Amay James Avenue and West Boulevard, according to WSOCTV.
The station reported that officers handcuffed a man and put him in a patrol car, though noted CMPD had not yet released details.
