Rep. Adams To Hold Two Charlotte-Area Town Halls Aug. 5
The Congresswoman is hosting two town hall events in the 12th District next week, including a two-hour session in Charlotte.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Residents of North Carolina’s 12th District will have an opportunity to hear from their Congressional representative next week. Rep. Alma Adams is hosting two town hall meetings, including a two-hour session in Charlotte.
The meetings will focus on the first 200 days of this session of Congress and will allow Adams to hear from constituents, according to a statement from her office.
“These town hall meetings will give constituents the chance to speak to the Congresswoman about the issues that matter to them,” the statement said.

Here is the town hall schedule for Monday, Aug. 5:
- 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. — Davidson Town Hall Assembly Room, 216 South Main Street, Davidson
- 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. — St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 1600 Norris Avenue, Charlotte
