The Right Stuff: Donnie Wahlberg Leaves $2K Tip At Charlotte Waffle House
Think you're a good tipper? You've got nothing on Donnie Wahlberg eating at a Charlotte Waffle House.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Donnie Wahlberg’s fan club got a little bit bigger in Charlotte last night after the actor and musician left a $2,000 tip on an $82 meal at a Queen City Waffle House. That’s a 2,421 percent tip, for those of you without calculators.
Wahlberg, who streamed his late-night nosh on Facebook Live, said he arrived in Charlotte Wednesday evening after a long day of filming on the set of his CBS police drama “Blue Bloods” and in preparation of the New Kids on the Block concert July 13. He stopped into the Waffle House at 3309 Queen City Drive for a bite to eat (steak, eggs, bacon and grits, to be exact) and made some new friends with the waitstaff, invited them to be his guests at the concert Thursday night, then dropped the massive tip.

“My mom waited tables, and my dad tended bars -- for years! So, when I walk into a #WaffleHouse, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe I treat them like queens! Thanks to the team at @wafflehouseofficial Charlotte, NC!” he posted on his Facebook page.
