Robbers Knocked On The Front Door, Then Pushed Their Way In: CMPD

Two robbery suspects knocked on the victim's door before pushing their way into the home and firing shots, police say.

CHARLOTTE, NC – Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two robbers who knocked on the victim’s front door and then pushed their way inside the home before firing several shots.

The brazen home invasion occurred Dec. 21, 2016 -- just days before the Christmas holidays – in the 2700 block of Watson Drive in Charlotte, according to police.

The two male suspects fled the scene in what CMPD detectives say was a silver or light blue Chrysler 200. One suspect is described as a tall, skinny black male, between 20-30 years old, with dreadlocks. He had a face tattoo on his left cheek, as well as one across his neck.

The second suspect was described as a black male with a crew cut and about 6 foot, 1 inch tall.
