Robbery Suspect Who Cut Off Ankle Monitor Nabbed By CMPD

Brandon Javon Pettus has been arrested one week after cutting off his monitoring device.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested a robbery suspect Sunday, one week after he cut off his monitoring device.

Brandon Javon Pettus was wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device, which he reportedly cut off May 1, violating his pre-trial release.

Pettus, 31, was described as a black male, 5-foot, 11-inches tall and about 180 pound, was last known to be in the Erskine Drive area of Charlotte.
