Salon Plaza Galleria Offering Free Kid Back-To-School Haircuts

Salon Plaza Galleria is offering free back-to-school haircuts for area elementary kids with a donation of a hygiene item Wednesday.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” As Charlotte area parents ready their kids for a new school year, one metro salon is hoping to give them a break by offering free haircuts Wednesday.

Salon Plaza Galleria, located at 1810 Galleria Boulevard in Charlotte, is offering free hair cuts for elementary students from kindergarten through 5th grade Aug. 14 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Here’s what the salon says about the event:
β€œSalon Plaza Galleria is hosting a Back-to-School Haircut event. Members of the community are invited to enjoy a sweet snack when your cut is finished. Kids age K-5th grade can receive a free haircut when a donation of shampoo, deodorant, razors, dish soap, clothes detergent pods, adult/child toothbrushes or feminine pads are made (limited to one free haircut per donation). Donations will be given to The Matthew Help Center Hygiene Drive.”
