Santa Cam: Panthers Star Quarterback Grants Boy’s Holiday Wish

Christmas morning can be overwhelming. In the avalanche of bows and ripped paper, perhaps it’s inevitable that there could be a bit of confusion over whether or not your aunt gave you socks or the fuzzy slippers. But for 6-year-old Robbie Rooks, his unbridled excitement in receiving a Cam Newton Panthers jersey sent gift-giver confusion to a whole new, adorable level.

“Thank you Cam Newton!” the boy squealed in a video, thinking the Panthers star quarterback sent the jersey to him. “Go Cam Newton and the Panthers!”

Robbie’s aunt posted the video online and it didn’t take long for the boy’s exuberance to go viral.

“I would like to make his imagination come true ,so if you could please rt hoping that Cam can see this and possibly give his little fan a signed jersey,” she said.

It didn’t take long for the Carolina Panthers to respond.

“Santa Cam saw it and is hooking ya up with a new one…” the Panthers tweeted Wednesday afternoon.
