School Bus Crashes With 29 Students On Board: Report

CHARLOTTE, NC — A school bus with 29 students on board headed to West Charlotte High School was rear ended on Beatties Ford Road Tuesday morning, according to reports. It was one of at least two bus accidents reported in the Charlotte metro as cold, slippery weather moving into the region snarled the morning commute..

No one on the bus was injured in the accident on Beatties Ford Road at Interstate 85 and students were transferred to another school bus at the scene, WSOC reported.

A second accident involving a school bus was reported on Ashley Road at Alleghany Street in west Charlotte, the station reported. No injuries were reported in that accident.
