Day Care Van Wreck In Charlotte Leaves 7 Injured: Report

CHARLOTTE, NC -- An accident involving a day care van on Shamrock Drive in east Charlotte sent six children and a driver to area hospitals with minor injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to a report.

The accident occurred in the 4700 block of Shamrock Drive shortly after 2 p.m., WBTV reported.

WSOC later reported that the van flipped after it and another vehicle collided. The children were all expected to be released from the hospital Tuesday evening, the report said.
