CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for help identifying a man they say is a suspect in an early morning armed robbery of a north Charlotte 7-Eleven convenience store.

The incident occurred July 19 at the 7-Eleven store located at 8101 Old Concord Road around 2 a.m.

“He demanded property from the business and threatened the store clerk. The suspect fled the scene on foot,” Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male, with a thin build. He is approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall, and was wearing a red hooded jacket, white shorts and black and white sneakers.

CMPD said that anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911, or leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
