CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help locating a 27-year-old Charlotte man wanted on a list of charges after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitoring device Tuesday.

Travis Santonio Jones, 27, was last known to be in the area of 4200 Stateville Road in Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. He was ordered to wear the device as a condition of pre-trial release, police said.

He is wanted for common law robbery, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and larceny of a motor vehicle. He now faces additional charges of damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

Jones is described at 5-foot, 10-inches and 185 pounds.

CMPD said anyone with information on Jones' whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3, or call 911.
