Search On For Missing 20-Year-Old Charlotte Woman

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are asking for the community's help locating a missing 20-year-old Charlotte woman with a cognitive disability who has not been seen since last Saturday.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Mary Collins was last seen on Burnley Road around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 and was believed to have traveled to the NoDa area to meet with friends.

She was reported missing by a concerned family member on March 30 around 11 p.m., CMPD said.

Collins is around 5-foot,4-inches, and about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white striped shirt, black leggings, a black beanie and was carrying a black Marilyn Manson purse, CMPD said.

"Family says Collins is diagnosed with a cognitive disability, and they are concerned for her safety," CMPD said.

CMPD said that anyone with information on Collins’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
