Search Underway For Armed Robbery Suspects: Police

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a Charlotte business at gunpoint Thursday evening, taking cigarettes and money.

The Jan. 30 incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at the QuikTrip store located at 5700 North Tryon Street in Charlotte.

According to a police report, the suspects were described as a tall, thin white female and a black male with facial tattoos.

“One suspect displayed a firearm, and both suspects demanded property belonging to the business,” Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said. “The suspects ultimately left the business with cartons of cigarettes and money.”

CMPD said that anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call 911, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
