Southwest Middle Students Stuff School Bus Full Of Gifts For 2K Charlotte Kids
"If we had more examples of this in our society, I think the world would be a better place."
Southwest Middle students who participate in Student Council and the Civic Voices Club joined Kids First of the Carolinas to provide gifts for the holidays to more than 2,000 children in Charlotte. The students stuffed a bus with toys, clothes and supplies.
“Our students’ mindset and their can-do-it spirit and thinking about others outside of themselves is something that we should all live each and every day,” said Principal Merita Little. “If we had more examples of this in our society, I think the world would be a better place.”
