Sunny Skies Ahead: Charlotte Weekend Weather

Warm temperatures are back this weekend, along with sunny and clear skies.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- It looks like summer isn’t quite ready to give up in the Charlotte metro region just yet. The Queen City can expect temperatures to top out in the high 70s and low 80s this weekend, with sunny and clear skies through Sunday.

All this great weather comes just in time for the annual Orionid meteor shower, which peaks this weekend. The meteors — some of the fastest and brightest produced by any showers this year — will continue to fly through Nov. 7 as Earth hits a stream of debris left behind by Halley’s Comet head-on.
