Suspect Attempts To Kidnap Two Women At Gunpoint In Charlotte
In two separate cases Tuesday morning, a man pointed a gun at female joggers and demanded they get in his car. Both got away.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- In two separate incidents Tuesday morning, an armed man in a car pulled up next to female joggers, pulled out a gun and demanded they get inside. Neither victim was injured and both were able to get away and call for help, according to Charlotte police, who are now asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
The first kidnapping attempt occurred in the 15000 block of York Road in Charlotte around 7:48 a.m. on July 4, but the woman was able to run away and called 911. About an hour later, the man made a second attempt in the 5900 block of Dixie River Road.
The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic man, about 20 - 30 years old. He has straight black hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt. He was driving a stolen 1999 tan or gold Mercedes Benz with North Carolina license plate EJA1151.

The car, say police, was reported stolen July 1.
