Suspect Wanted On Firearm Charges On The Run: CMPD
Devin Tyshaun Alexander, 27, is wanted on a list of charges and cut off his electronic monitoring device Thursday, say police.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are asking for the community’s help locating a man wanted on firearm charges after he cut off his court ordered electronic monitoring device Thursday.
Devin Tyshaun Alexander, 27, was court ordered to wear the electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
Alexander is wanted for possession of a stolen firearm; possession of a firearm by a felon; and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He is now also faces charges for damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

As of Feb. 27, he was last known to be in the 600 block of Beatties Ford Road. He is described as 5-foot, 11-inches tall and 150 pounds.
CMPD said anyone with information about Alexander’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
