Police Arrest Suspected Killers of 14-Year-Old

Charlotte Police say they've arrested two men for the January murder of Anthony Frazier, who was just 14 years old.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police have arrested two for the January murder of a Kannapolis teenager who was shot while riding in a car during a visit with family in east Charlotte.

Mangasha Dion Clark, 19, and Reginald Lee Edmonds, 17, have been arrested for the Jan. 2 slaying that occurred in the 2200 block of Finchley Drive. Edmonds was arrested April 11, and was charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder. Clark was arrested April 12 and charged with murder, CMPD said.

Frazier, 14, was shot around 10 p.m. on Jan. 2 by two suspects concealed by a bush near the house, The Charlotte Observer reported. “He was a 14-year-old kid, out celebrating his birthday, just came back from dinner,” his uncle told the newspaper.
