Thanksgiving Dinner: 19 Charlotte, Lake Norman Restaurants Open

CHARLOTTE, NC —If you don't want to cook on Thanksgiving or need a meal in between, making lunch and dinner reservations is still an option in Charlotte —but the option is quickly fading.

A handful of restaurants are open but tables are going fast and you may be looking at a reservation waiting list. Here's what we found, through both OpenTable and word of mouth. If we missed a spot, be sure to let us know in the comments section below the story:

• Eddie V’s — Charlotte, 101 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte. The site says: Thanksgiving at Eddie V’s. Join us for an exquisite turkey dinner with all the traditional trimmings. Adults $42; Children $15. Need more to be thankful for? Our full dinner menu will also be available.
• The Capital Grille -- Charlotte, 201 North Tryon St., Charlotte. The site says: "We invite you to make our dining room yours on Thanksgiving Day. Alongside our full menu, we'll be offering our Executive Chef's take on Thanksgiving favorites." Call 704-348-1400 for a reservation.
• Angeline’s, 303 S. Church St., Charlotte. The site says: "FRIENDSGIVING" DINNER "Italian inspired Thanksgiving dinner for friends and families" $45 per person 10% of all sales will be donated to the “No Kid Hungry” Project.
• Chima Steakhouse - Charlotte, 139 South Tryon St., Charlotte. The site says: "Let us cook for us this Thanksgiving. 12 to 8 PM. Complete rodizo plus Thanksgiving favorites. $56.90 per person.
• Ruth’s Chris Steak House, multiple locations, Charlotte. The site says: “Our chef’s traditional 3-course feast includes a soup or salad starter, hand-carved oven-roasted turkey with sausage and herb stuffing and your choice of one of Ruth’s three most popular personal sides, finished off with our dessert duo. Or enjoy a favorite from our full dinner menu.”
• Morton's The Steakhouse - Charlotte, 227 West Trade St., Charlotte. The site says: "Make your Morton's reservation for Thursday, November 22. For a limited time only, join us for Côte de Boeuf and/or Steak & Lobster Oscar. Offer varies by location. Open at 1pm.”
• McCormick & Schmick's Seafood, multiple locations, Charlotte. The site says: "Join us on Thanksgiving for our main dinner menu as well as a Traditional Thanksgiving Feast. Roasted turkey, soups, salads, stuffing, casseroles, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, cranberry sauce, pies and more. $28.50.”
• Ri Ra Irish Pub, 208 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte. The site says, “Let Ri Ra do the cooking for you this Thanksgiving. We will be featuring a full menu along with Thanksgiving featured specials. Advance reservations are highly recommended!”
• JP Charlotte, 601 South College St., Charlotte. The site says: "Join us for one of the best brunches in the city. Including sugar glazed ham, free range turkey, seafood and curing bar and extensive sweets display. Make your reservation today!”
• Trade Restaurant and Bar, 132 E. Trade Street, Charlotte. The site says, “Thanksgiving at Trade Restaurant features an extensive Buffet sure to please everyone!! Seating Times from 4pm to 8pm. $40 per adult. Menus are posted on Open Table. Reserve now, Space is limited.”
• The Palm Charlotte, 6705-B Phillips Place Ct., Charlotte. The site says: "Celebrate Thanksgiving with family at The Palm! Savor selections like Herb Roasted Hand Carved Turkey, Lobster Bisque, Creamed Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, Pumpkin Cranberry Bash, and more. Our dinner menu will also be available on Thanksgiving. We look forward to enjoying the holiday with you!”
• The Pump House, 575 Herrons Ferry Rd., Rock Hill, S.C. The site says: "Join us for Thanksgiving this year at The Pump House. We will be open all day starting at 11 AM offering a featured menu.”
• New South Kitchen & Bar, 8140 Providence Rd., Suite 300, Charlotte. The site says, "Join us for a traditional Thanksgiving buffet featuring deep fried turkey, rib roast, desserts and all the trimmings.”
• Gallery Restaurant, 10000 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte. The site says, “Enjoy a bountiful brunch 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Dine on seasonal salads, flavorful entrees, regionally-inspired sides and desserts, complemented by live music. Cost is $95 per person, $40 for children, ages 5-12, and complimentary for children ages 4 and under (exclusive of tax & service charge).”

• Red Rocks Cafe - Birkdale Village, 8712 Lindholm Driverr, Huntersville. The site says, “FEAST on a THANKSGIVING BUFFET of Turkey Breast, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, Atlantic Salmon, Quattro Formaggio Pasta, ALL the Fixin's, and Assorted Desserts! $34 Adults | $13 Children (under 12). Soft Drinks/ Tea/ Coffee included. Reservations HIGHLY recommended.”

• Buca di Beppo-Pineville, 10915 Carolina Place Parkway, Pineville. The site says: "Buca di Beppo is open on Thursday November 22nd and Friday November 23rd. Book your table to enjoy a relaxing traditional Thanksgiving meal, or order from regular menu featuring our authentic Italian cuisine. Parties of all sizes are welcome!”

• The Foundry at Trilogy Lake Norman, 310 Exploration Boulevard, Denver, NC. The site says, “Join Us for Thanksgiving Brunch, November 22, 2018. Just imagine, all the wonderful food you can eat and no dishes to wash! Spend your time enjoying family and friends instead of slaving over a hot stove. Seatings at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. $34.95 Adults, Children 6 - 12 $14.95, Children 3-5 $6.95”
