These N.C. Stores Have Biggest Black Friday Discounts, Study Says
Kohl's gives the deepest Black Friday discounts, according to one analysis. See all 32 N.C. stores that have the best Black Friday sales.

Retailers have already announced their Black Friday sales, with Kohl's, JCPenney and Belk stores leading the pack of national chains doing business in North Carolina. A study has identified the 32 stores that are offering the deepest discounts, on average, for those pre-holiday sales, with Ace Hardware and Bass Pro Shops at the bottom of the list, but still giving shoppers 20 percent off normal prices.
The study from consumer analyst WalletHub surveyed nearly 10,000 deals from the biggest U.S. retailers' 2017 Black Friday ad scans. The study listed the stores offering the largest advertised discounts in various product categories such as "Jewelry" and "Appliances."
WalletHub's study says these retailers are offering even steeper price cuts or other discount promotions, both in store and online, just to stay ahead of their competitors. "That's good news for shoppers, especially those who prefer to shop from home," according to the study.
