Two Suspects Wanted For Domestic Violence Crimes Cut Off Ankle Monitors: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A search is underway in the Charlotte area for two men wanted by police for domestic violence-related crimes and for cutting off their court-ordered electronic monitoring devices.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, Tony Larue Clark, 33, is wanted for a domestic violence protective order violation, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

One day earlier, on Aug. 9, Randy Smith Lewis, 34, cut off his monitor. He is also wanted for two counts of domestic violence related breaking and entering with intent to terrorize and injure victim, as well as attempted breaking and entering.

Lewis was last known to be in near 9724 Parkridge Drive in Charlotte.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about either of these two cases contact the department’s electronic monitoring unit at 704-432-8888, or call 911.
