Tyson Chicken Strips Recalled In NC Due To Metal Hazard
Tyson recalls about 69,000 pounds of chicken strips sold nationally and in NC due to possible metal hazards. Here's what to do.

Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling about 69,093 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strips that may have been contaminated with pieces of metal. The products were shipped to stores nationwide, and people in North Carolina who may have bought them should throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund, the USDAβs Food Safety Inspection Service said.
The various varieties of chicken strips subject to the recall were also distributed in bulk for institutional use in Michigan and Wisconsin.
The USDA agency said the problem was discovered after two consumers complained they had found metal in their chicken strips. No one has been sickened or injured, but consumers who are concerned about adverse reactions should see a doctor, the agency said.
