Watch: 6-Foot-Long Snake Pulled From 88-Year-Old Man's Toilet

You will never look at your toilet the same way again after watching this North Carolina man's video.

CHARLOTTE, NC β€” Earning the distinction of the best neighbor imaginable, a Lattimore, North Carolina, man recently pulled a 6-foot snake from his 88-year-old neighbor’s toilet, making it the sixth snake he’s removed from the john in four years, according to a report.

Video of the incident showing Mike Greene's heroics posted on his Facebook page Aug. 17 has racked up almost 6 million views, The Charlotte Observer reported.

In the video, Greene reaches into the toilet to grab the tail of the snake curled up in the bottom of the toilet bowl, slowly pulling him out with both hands.

β€œLook how big he is, Mike,” his grateful neighbor is heard saying in the background, as the snake is extracted. β€œWhat are you going to do with him?”

β€œOh, I’ll take him and turn him loose somewhere,” Greene said.

β€œGosh I’m glad to get him out,” his grateful neighbor responded. β€œI had to get up in the night to pee, so I peed in the jar.”

Greene commented on the video that it was a black rat snake. According to North Carolina Cooperative Extension, rat snakes are nonvenomous, β€œfrequently find their way into buildings,” and eat mice, rats and birds.
