A Wendy's employee pulled out a shotgun and fired into a customer's car during a fight over wait time for food, according to a report.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A complaint about wait time for food at a north Charlotte fast food restaurant early Friday morning prompted a violent response from a Wendy’s employee, who pulled out a shotgun and shot into the customer’s car, according to reports.

No one was injured in the predawn incident at a Wendy’s located on Sunset Road, Charlotte police told WSOCTV.

The altercation between a female customer driving a red Dodge Charger and a female employee began in the parking lot around 2 a.m., where the customer was waiting for food, the report said. When the employee brought the food out, a fight broke out between the two over the wait time. A male employee came out of the restaurant with the shotgun and fired at the vehicle, leaving a bullet hole in the back passenger door, the station reported.
