Windsor Run Hosts Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Program
Erickson Living community proud to welcome pastor from Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church as keynote speaker

Matthews, North Carolina--On January 15, Windsor Run celebrated its 1st annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. legacy event hosted by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
The Erickson Living community was proud to welcome Pastor Larry Whitley from Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews as the keynote speaker. Pastor Whitley described his experiences with the Civil Rights Movement, the history of Matthews during that time and the local effort to recognize Dr. King Day as a holiday.
The program included inspirational quotes shared by Windsor Run residents and employees, with a moving performance of spiritual hymns performed by the Windsor Run Choir. Everyone joined hands to unite as one during the singing of “We Shall Overcome.”
