CHARLOTTE, NC — The winter holidays will soon be over, which means it won’t be long before students and teachers will be back in school. But there are a number of upcoming dates on school calendars note when school will be out again and the kids run free from classes.
Here are some notable dates on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools calendar this winter:
- Dec. 23, 2019 - Jan. 3, 2020: Winter break. Classes resume Monday, Jan. 6
- Jan. 20: No school, Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Jan. 24: Teacher workday
- Feb. 17: Teacher workday
- March 27: Teacher workday
- April 9 - April 17: Spring break
- May 25: No School
- June 9: Last Day of School
