Woman Goes Missing After Jail Release: CMPD
Amber Wike was released from jail in June, but has been missing for more than a month, her family told police.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A Charlotte woman who was released from Mecklenburg County Jail in June has been missing for more than a month, Charlotte police said Friday.
Amber Wike, 32, was released on June 14, but went missing 12 days later, her mother told Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police June 26. She was last seen at 700 E. 4th Street, Charlotte, her mother, Malynda Calloway, told officers.
“Amber Wikes [sic] usually maintains contact with her family and they have not heard from her and are extremely concerned about her welfare” CMPD said in a statement Aug. 4.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about her location contact 911 or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
