Woman Stabbed To Death In University Area

Charlotte police have launched a murder investigation after finding a woman stabbed to death Monday morning.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- A woman was found stabbed to death in the University area Monday morning and Charlotte police say they have a person of interest in custody for the murder

Police responded to the 5600 block of Hubbard Point Drive around 7:15 a.m. April 10, and found the victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say the victim and a male subject of interest found at the scene knew each other.
