Zaxby’s Armed Robbery Suspect Injures Victim In Morning Heist
A female victim was injured during an armed robbery of a South Charlotte Zaxby's Wednesday morning, police said.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who injured a female victim while demanding access to a safe at a South Charlotte Zaxby’s Wednesday morning.
The July 31 robbery occurred around 8 a.m. at the Zaxby’s located at 7508 South Tryon Street. According to a police report, the suspect forced a victim inside the business and demanded that the restaurant’s safe be opened.
“A physical altercation ensued, and the suspect ultimately fled from the scene,” Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said. “The victim was not shot, but did receive minor injuries as a result of the suspect’s actions.”

CMPD released a photo of the suspect and is asking anyone who recognizes him to call 911 immediately, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
