• Beaufort County Street Crimes Unit makes 8 felony arrests (wnct.com) — A Chocowinity resident is among several people recently arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Street Crimes Unit during traffic enforcement focused on suspected narcotics. Deputies say the two-week effort led to eight felony arrests, including charges involving fentanyl, cocaine, and meth, plus the seizure of drugs and $15,000 in cash. Residents are urged to report suspicious activity.
