• Fraud probe extends from one to many (clintonnc.com) — Sampson County investigators say a Clinton man is facing multiple felony charges after an alleged scheme that financially exploited a disabled veteran and at least three other women across several counties. Authorities believe there may be more victims and are urging anyone who has had financial dealings with him, or suspects similar exploitation, to contact the Sheriff's Office.
