• Clinton PD trains for tactical emergencies (clintonnc.com) — Clinton residents can expect better-equipped officers after all sworn Clinton Police Department personnel completed advanced Tactical Emergency Casualty Care training at Sampson Community College. The course focused on lifesaving skills like bleeding control, wound packing, and shock prevention, and every officer will now carry an Individual First Aid Kit in their patrol car, with annual refresher sessions planned to keep those skills sharp.
