1. Wegmans isn't the only grocer opening this fall in Charlotte. Here's more (heraldonline.com) β Concord shoppers will soon get a new grocery option when Sprouts Farmers Market opens Nov. 13 at Christenbury Corners on Christenbury Parkway. Concord Maple Street Location to Become Biscuit Belly's First North Carolina Conversion (whatnow.com) β A Maple Street Biscuit Company on Christenbury Parkway in Concord will be converted into Biscuit Belly's first North Carolina location in late fall 2026, without closing the restaurant. ISP Roundup: Kinetic passes new milestones in Concord, North Carolina (bbcmag.com) β Kinetic has expanded its fiber network by more than 20% in Concord, now passing over 38,000 homes and promising even more build-out ahead. 4. Concord movie theater abruptly closes after nearly 50 years (wbtv.com) β Concord residents are losing a longtime hangout, as Carolina Mall Cinema 8 has permanently closed after nearly 50 years in town.
