📰 News we're reading

• NCDOT Signal Retiming Underway (corneliustoday.com) — Drivers in Cornelius can expect NCDOT crews retiming traffic signals along West Catawba Avenue between U.S. 21 and Jetton Road through the end of October, aiming to ease congestion. Local police help flag malfunctioning lights, and officers may direct traffic at problem intersections while adjustments are made, so residents should watch for crews and possible short-term delays.
