1. Fayetteville window treatments get done after Troubleshooter steps in (abc11.com) — Several Fayetteville residents say they waited months or years for window treatments from local company Blinds Plus, despite paying thousands of dollars up front. After WTVD Troubleshooter Diane Wilson contacted the owner, one customer received a full refund of more than $5,400, others finally had their jobs completed, and additional unresolved cases are now being addressed.
   

2. Millions spent, but Fayetteville fire station must be torn down and rebuilt (cbs17.com) — Fayetteville's new Fire Station 4 on Bragg Boulevard will be demolished and completely rebuilt after engineers found serious structural problems in its walls, roof, and foundation, despite $7.6 million already spent. City Council voted unanimously to tear it down this fall and redirect remaining bond funds toward a safer replacement station intended to improve response times for thousands of nearby homes.
   

3. Fort Bragg tapped for next-generation nuclear power program (fayobserver.com) — Fort Bragg has been chosen as one of five Army bases to host new nuclear microreactors, with vendor Antares planning to install three compact units on post. Army officials, responding to questions from The Fayetteville Observer, stress the reactors' safety, their role in keeping power on during grid failures, and the potential for local construction and electrical jobs.
   

4. Fallen Airman Malachi Robinson gets hero homecoming in Fayetteville: 'We've lost another one' (abc11.com) — Fayetteville residents gathered at Fayetteville Regional Airport to honor Airman First Class Malachi Robinson as his body returned home after a fatal swimming accident in Italy. Patriot Guard Riders and community members stood in tribute while military leaders expressed condolences and support for his family and fellow Airmen during the ongoing investigation.
   

5. Woodpeckers Keep Rolling with Doubleheader Sweep of Salem (mlb.com) — Fayetteville baseball fans just watched the Woodpeckers extend their franchise-record winning streak to nine games with a doubleheader sweep of Salem at Segra Stadium. Strong hitting in Game 1 and clutch pitching in Game 2 have pushed Fayetteville 6.5 games ahead in the division with only ten regular-season games left.
