DNA links Fayetteville murder suspect to 3 unsolved sex assaults (fayobserver.com) β Fayetteville investigators say DNA evidence has linked a local murder suspect to three previously unsolved sexual assaults dating back to 2018, all involving attacks in or near wooded areas. The Fayetteville Police Department's Cold Case Special Victims Unit used CODIS database matches to connect the cases, and the suspect's murder trial is scheduled for later this month.
