Man wears stolen police uniform to gain access to home, steal money, officers say (wyff4.com) — Fayetteville police say a man in stolen department-issued gear posed as an officer, entered a local home around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, and stole money before being arrested nearby. Detectives later determined the equipment had been taken from an officer's home while they were on vacation, and all items have since been recovered.
3. Woman critically injured after SUV flips, smashes into North Carolina home, troopers say (myfox8.com) — A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when her Cadillac Escalade clipped a tree, flipped, and slammed into a home just northeast of Fayetteville early Sunday. No one inside the house was hurt, but the driver and an assisting firefighter were taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville as troopers investigate the high-speed crash at Dobbin Holmes and Dunn roads.
4. 3323 Hopekirk (lot 11) Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28306 (redfin.com) — A property at 3323 Hopekirk Drive in Fayetteville is designated in the Single-Family Residential 10 (SF-10) zoning district, which focuses on low-density detached homes.
