Six local volunteers are on alert in Fayetteville, drawing on lessons from Matthew and Florence to support sheltering, feeding, and emergency relief wherever they're needed most.
4. Cpt. Nathan Christian Potter (medina-gazette.com) — Fayetteville readers are remembering Cpt. Nathan Christian Potter, a 35-year-old Army officer stationed at Fort Bragg who died in his sleep on September 29.
