The play portrays the 1873 trial of Susan B. Anthony, who was arrested for voting. The script is based on actual court transcripts from the trial. It is especially timely, as 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of women having the vote.

Rehearsals will be in-person and will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols, including daily symptom checks. Rehearsals will typically occur from 4-6 pm three or four times a week. A final schedule will be based on participants’ availability. The advantage of doing a play set in a courtroom is there is minimal physical interaction between characters and the stories are compelling.
