GDOT (Greensboro) Accepting E-Scooters And Micromobility Permit Applications
The Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT) is now accepting Shared Micromobility Service Permit Applications.

The Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT) is now accepting Shared Micromobility Service Permit Applications to operate in the City’s right-of-way. GDOT will issue one permit for a two-year period, beginning January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022, with the option for two, one-year extensions. Applications must be received by 5 pm ET on Sunday, November 1.

Questions regarding the application must be submitted by email and a response will be provided within three business days. The last day to submit questions is Thursday, October 22. Updates to the permit application process, including submitted questions and their responses, will be posted here as they become available.
Applicants will be notified of their permit’s status no later than Monday, November 30.
