Guilford College: Brief Update On Presidential Search

David Hopkins '91 and Harrison Hickman '75, co-chairs of the Leadership Succession Initiative, report that the process of identifying the next President of Guilford College continues to progress.

After a resounding response of 79 applications to the President Position Profile built by the Guilford College community, receiving input from the Advisory Group on all 79 applications, and conducting interviews of nine candidates, the Selection Committee recommended four of the nine for the Board of Trustees to consider. The Board will interview these four candidates in the coming days. After the interviews, the Trustees will decide which candidates to invite for campus visits and meetings with members of the college community.  Additional updates will be shared as details are finalized.
