The Guilford County Division of Public Health (GCDPH) is proud to partner with community medical providers and Guilford County Schools (GCS) to provide free, back-to-school health assessments and immunizations for children who do not have medical insurance or a primary care physician.

Several medical providers in Guilford County have made themselves available to provide free health assessments on a rotation schedule.

  • High Point University (HPU) - Physician Assistant Program
  • Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine (TAPM)
  • Cone Health

Children in Kindergarten, 7th grade, 12th grade, or who are entering North Carolina Public Schools for the first time may receive health assessments and immunizations at no cost, and without medical insurance.

In North Carolina Public Schools, proof of health assessment and immunizations (in some cases) is required within 30 days of enrollment in order to avoid school suspension.
