Murrow Boulevard Lane Closures Begin Oct. 5 In Greensboro

Beginning Monday, October 5, and continuing through Friday, October 9, sections of Morrow Boulevard will be closed due to street paving associated with Downtown Greenway’s phase 2 project, weather-permitting.

Specific closures, all of which take place from 6 am to 6 pm each day, are as follows:

• Monday and Tuesday, October 5-6, northbound lanes of Murrow between Gate City Boulevard and the Church Street bridge.
• Wednesday, October 7, southbound lanes of Murrow between Smith and Lindsay streets.
• Thursday, October 8, one southbound lane between Lindsay Street and Gate City Boulevard.
• Friday, October 9, various lanes at intersections along Murrow between Gate City Boulevard and Lindsay Street.

All roads that cross Murrow along the work route will remain open to traffic. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes during this week to avoid the work areas or expect delays.
